INSPECTION SERVICES
Here's a list of my inspection services. Feel free to ask us about additional types of inspections. I perform all of our inspections according to the Inspection Standards of Practice.
FULL HOME INSPECTION:
A home is probably the biggest purchase you’ll ever make, so it’s important to understand the condition of your investment. I’ll provide a non-invasive evaluation of the home’s accessible structure, systems and components. While a home inspection can’t reveal every concern that exists, it will significantly reduce your anxiety by arming you with the knowledge you need to make an informed home-buying decision.
RADON TESTING SCHEDULING
Although radon is a naturally occurring gas in our environment, it's also the second leading cause of lung cancer deaths in the U.S., according to the Surgeon General. One out of 15 homes is estimated to have dangerously elevated radon levels. The Surgeon General and the Environmental Protection Agency recommend testing all houses. Millions of Americans have had their homes tested for radon, and you should, too. I will schedule a radon test to be performed by a qualified professional that also offers radon mitigation.
INVESTOR WALK TROUGH:
I will conduct a visual-only walk-through of the property to discuss major defects in systems, components or particular concerns as agreed upon in advance. I can do this together or discuss it afterwards. Since this walk through is based on your specific requests it would be beneficial to attend the walk-through. While I’ll provide you with my recommendations, this inspection does not result in a written report, so I encourage you to take notes as you accompany me.
TERMITE INSPECTION
Wood-destroying insects can cause serious damage to the wooden structural components of a house. They can hide and go undetected for a long time, but there are many telltale signs for different species that indicate their presence. I’ll inspect your home for evidence of infestation now before it becomes an expensive problem later. I will schedule a termite inspection to be performed by a qualified professional which also offers termite mitigation if needed and it will typically be completed the same day as the home inspection.
